Project Description
The team of NIURS and PPC visited Phidim, Panchthar and Khadbari, Sankhuwasabha on 3rd and 5th Jan 2024. The objective of the visit was to collect suggestions from stakeholders for preparation of approach paper for Koshi Province’s second periodic plan. The programs helped in creating awareness among stakeholders regarding achievements of first periodic plan of the province and also provided platform to discuss challenges and opportunities of the planning process. The themes of the series of meetings included qualitative management in health, education, construction and production sector. The programs were moderated by PPC secretary Kamal Thapa and the subject matters were presented by Vice-chairman of Koshi, Dr. Puranjan Acharya, former Vice chairman of Gandaki province, Dr. Raghuraj Kaphle and remarks were made by NIURS chair, Dr. Jagadish Chandra Pokharel.
