Dr. Jagadish Chandra Pokharel is the former Vice-Chairman of the National Planning Commission of Nepal. He has a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, a Ph.D in Regional Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge USA and a B. Arch, from University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He has nearly 35 years of experience in the field of urban and Regional Planning, Urban Economics and Development Studies.

Ar. Kishore Thapa is the former secretary of the government of Nepal. He has Bachelors of Architecture degree from Calcutta University, India and Master’s degree in Urban Planning with specialization in housing from the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi, India. He has served in various capacities in different government institutions as architect, urban planner, project director and secretary of various ministries. His field of expertise is architecture, housing and urban development.

Mr. Om Bahadur Rajbhandary is real estate entrepreneur and the Executive Chairman of Brihat Group, a leading real estate business group in Nepal. He has a Bachelor’s degree in science from the Tribhuvan University, Nepal and two decades of experience in the housing and real estate sector throughout the region. He is an Executive Committee Member of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).

Mr. Sagar Prasai is currently the Consultant of The Asia Foundation in Nepal. Dr. Prasai holds a B. Arch. From Nagpur University; M.A. in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Hawaii; and PhD in Regional Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He has more than 20 years’ experience in Architecture, urban planning and development issues in Nepal and the Region.

Dr. Subarna Mani Dhital, M.D. is a medical doctor with ten years’ experience in Nepal and abroad. He has an MBBS degree from Nepal Medical College of Kathmandu University, Nepal, completed his residency training in the USA and received his endocrinology fellowship training at the University of Wisconsin, USA. His areas of interest include the public provision of urban healthcare services in Nepal, particularly those relating to endocrinological conditions such as diabetes.

As an Urban Planner and Engineer, Mr. Unam Man Pradhan has served the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction, Nepal. He has more than two decades of experience in Nepal and Asia.
